Prostitutes were trolling the parking lot.

The minute I drive up I knew it was a mistake. I checked in and went to the room, I refused to stay there. The toilet was nasty, I didn’t feel safe, I left and stayed at another hotel, didn’t bother to deal with it! Thought it was strange the front desk person preferred cash for the pet deposit rather than it being part of the bill. The quality of this hotel and room is a disgrace to the Red Lion name and should not be allowed to be a Red Lion property!

Price was relatively low and staff was friendly and accommodating, but I have some complaints:
1) we asked for a ground floor room which they were able to give us, thank you!- but we were close to the front desk and the sound separation is terrible so we heard people talking all night long. The doors to not keep out sound at all.
2) The hallway carpet was filthy
3) The smoke alarm nearest our door kept beeping because it needed a new battery
4) The TV remote's off, mute, and volume buttons didn't seem to work, which we found out in comedic fashion when I tried to take a cellphone call
5) I called the front desk and they couldn't hear me talking - maybe the mic in the phone is dead?
6) No fridge or microwave, although to be fair I don't expect those perks at the cheapest hotels.We had a tough time sleeping with the hallway noise and the smoke alarm beeps. Sorry Red Lion. Staff seemed really nice, but the facility has some issues.

We didn’t arrive till very late, so all we did was sleep freshen up and go.

I was going by the name Red Lion Inn and those are usually very nice hotels. This one when we drove up it was outside of town and not a very good area right next to a truck stop and some other things that made me not feel very safe. This was a nonrefundable reservation; did not even get out of the car just decided to go to another hotel and lose the money on this one.

The bath tub was dirty, so we refused to use the shower. The bedding didn't seem very clean. You could hear the dog next door scratching on the door, meaning the walls are thin. The hallway stunk really bad. The place just seemed really shady. Don't stay here! Find a different hotel!
