Looking around the town, this did appear to be the only place that “tried” to have grass. The hotel itself was run down and needed updating. We paid for 2 rooms and 1 room had microwave & refrigerator and the other had neither of those so nothing was consistent. One of our room doors were broken and maintenance had left for the day by 3pm so we had to borrow a screwdriver to fix it ourselves. Other than that, the motel served its purpose!

Friendly service, convenient location and the room was clean. It was everything my dog and I needed for a quick overnight stay.

The room had basic amenities, but was clean and perfect for 1 night while passing through on a road trip. Beware of burrs/stickers around the property that will cause your dog discomfort. However the motel does have a small designated pet relief area in the back that’s sandy with poo bags.

It’s not that anything was terribly wrong. It’s just that with a no-frills motel you hope that there’s something around that at least makes it convenient. Since we’re in a U-Haul truck with my car on an auto-transport, it’s nice if there’s SOMETHING within walking distance where we can grab some food before heading off, but there wasn’t here. And the pool was closed for the season. So, it was just a bed to sleep in for a few hours. For that I was grateful.

Room was clean but talked to another guest’s which wasn’t. Next to a Walgreens if you need anything. Very little grass by the pool but big dirt area with trees. Would probably stay there again.

I checked in and the desk clerk was very pleasant and efficient. She called a half hour later to see if all was well. The room was basic, but clean and quiet. For a budget motel, this was a big winner. My dogs were with me and staff were also kind to them. The woman cleaning rooms was cheerful each day as well. I stayed a third night and enjoyed the area.

The listing said there were 2 grassy areas for pet relief, however that wasn’t the case. There were only dirt patches along the main roads or parking lots. My dog had goathead stickers from the dirt stuck in his paws. Also our first room had bugs on the floor and hair on the beds the second we walked in. You’d think at least during a pandemic they would be a little more sanitary. I understand it’s a motel 6 and you get what you pay for, but this motel was the typical rate I pay for much nicer hotels. Much too expensive for what you get, and my dog didn’t approve

We stayed there on our way to California. Room clean, staff extremely helpful! Noting fancy but clean and newly remodeled. Vinyl floors made no dog smells from previous pets great!!!!! WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!! Good value ,easy on /off to interstate?
