We brought our dogs on our recent trip to Coos Bay. The room was ridiculously clean. (Frankly, I’ve stayed in hospital rooms that weren’t as clean.) It’s a no frills place—no clock, no coffee maker in the room that we selected, but all we wanted was a clean place to lay our heads. We certainly got it.
The dog grass area was loaded with poop, but I don’t see that as the motel’s fault; that’s because some dog owners are knuckleheads and don’t clean up after their dogs. (That being said, the owner might consider having someone scoop the area a couple times a day, since they are providing it as an amenity for their guests.)Front desk staff was so very helpful. We were greeted by a young man named Ethan His restaurant recommendations were spot on, he looked online for the weather forecast in an area that we were totally unfamiliar with for our trip home, and he was happy to help. I never felt like I was inconveniencing him when I asked a question. My second question was met by the Manager. Also super helpful and friendly. I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN!!

The hotel room was clean but the bed spread had cigarette holes and the sheets were clean but they had grease stains. There was a pet relief area. Bring your pets bed or blanket cause there is no carpet. The staff was friendly and she apologized for the condition of the linen. She says they have been having issues with people putting holes on their linen. Would I stay here again? Yes, for a night or two

The room itself was fine, the grassy pet area is short hike on a very busy US 101 around the corner and on the side and back of the building. No lights, semi industrial area. No one is going to see or hear you if you run into trouble. Won't be staying here again.

The room was clean. There was no coffee available in the morning, it was noisy at night with late arrivals. We did hear other dogs barking and their dog area was extremely small and not everyone was diligent in their clean up.

True to others’ reviews, this Motel 6 was very clean and the staff was welcoming. However my room smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke I got a headache and felt sick. The bed was actually quite comfy. I left a night early because I couldn’t stand the smoke smell and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. No fridge or coffee, which made the price seem high for what you got.

Grassy area to walk dog at side and back of hotel, with doggie bags provided. Bay is across the street, but fenced in so no access. No refrigerator, microwave or plug for bathtub. Treated the dog well.

We enjoyed several Motel 6s while driving up the Pacific coast with our two dogs. They are great for being affordable and dog friendly. The dog area was a bit of a walk around to the back of the building, but the room was quiet and they have an indoor hot tub, which was nice

I have a Pit Bull/ Rottweiler breed baby boy. And EVERY place I’ve stayed at from Coos Bay, OR all the way down the coastline to Monterey Bay, CA have always welcomed my baby with no questions asked. Pet friendly means pet friendly. NO discrimination at all. I’m very impressed with Motel 6! I’d give it 10 stars if I could. They will always be my go to motel when traveling, because I always have my boy!

It’s really crappy that we still have places that discriminate against a beautiful breed of dog. And literally advertise that they don’t host a certain breed of dogs. It’s alright my dog is amazing with or without your approval. Pit bull pride.

Modern decor at this motel 6. Dog friendly. No pet fee. Just tell them you have dogs at check in. Would need to get a regular room as dogs are not allowed in suites. Filer in room says there is a place you can walk your dogs, but didn't use it.
