  Great price

  We stayed in a small king room but cute & updated other than heating & a/c unit. Office staff was friendly & apologized for only having a second floor room, knowing we had dogs. It’s nice to not be charged a pet fee & have a place to walk the dogs. For the price, definitely worth it. We’d stay here again.

  Easy to get to

  Neighborhood seemed a little sketch, but the front desk was super nice. Let us check in super late (girlfriend, cat, and myself were driving from Phoenix) and check-in was just show ID, hand over the room key and we were good to go. Room was clean and perfect

  As expected

  It’s an old motel, no coffee maker, very bare necessities. We just rested after a very long drive. My dog was happy since we were on the ground floor. “Please don’t drink the coffee" was the suggestion from the front desk, so we didn’t 🤷‍♀️

  Easy stay with dogs

  Friendly staff, room was fine. Great little Mexican restaurant right across street so you don't have to go hunting for food and leave the fur babies alone.

  If you need a place to sleep, it’s ok. But it was very noisy and things didn’t settle down until quite late. I think the staff does their best, things were pretty clean and people were friendly.

  Great Location

  Had a good experience here. it was conveniently located and was clean. My only complaint was the refrigerator kept making noises so I had to unplug it. I did report that to the front desk. As for dog space, plenty of wide open space if you like to unleash your dogs and plenty of grass everywhere. Would stay again if we are to drive through.

  Great location, room dirty

  The area was a good location, well lit, office staff was friendly. However, deadbolt on door didn’t work, the floors were black when I spilled water and tried to wipe up, and there were a few cockroaches in our room. Not the worst experience for price but did expect cleanliness.

  Great stay!

  The room was clean, the staff was courteous, and the best thing was the access to the room right in front of my car. And the refrigerator had a separate freezer compartment so I could freeze my cooler ice packs.

  Comfortable stay

  The room was actually nice. This is great for no frills travel on a budget. The check in process was fast and easy and the employees were very nice. The location was not great and pretty noisy, but it’s what I would expect from a roadside airport motel.

  Near park, convenient to freeway

  Clean room. Near park. Very easy freeway on/off. There are loose dogs in the area without guardian nearby (at least when we were there), so be aware. Though they barked at us, they did not approach.

  Convenient location, pleasant staff.

  Room perfect for us & our 3 large pups. No carpet to accumulate pet fur. Clean, quiet, well-insulated, with no road noise from nearby interstate.

  Just for 1 night

  The hotel is safe, very clean. Area for dogs to do their business. Not far to the Big Texan steak house. Towels are thin but it's a hotel coffee down at the office. Didn't hear the traffic.

  Great choice

  This branch like most has non-carpeted floors which is great. They allow 2 dogs. Room clean and functional. Neighborhood a bit run down. Large grass area for dogs.

  The room was simple and clean but it smelled terrible. We requested a non-smoking room but the room we got smelled like a smoking room.

  Great Overnight Stay

  This is a no frills place. Hotel is clean and updated. Nice green space for my dogs. Perfect for folks who are looking for a place to sleep that welcomes pets!

  Good stop on a road trip

  We stayed here on our way to and from Colorado. It is a clean space at a great price, especially with no pet fee. The rooms are simple but clean and was adequate for a night’s stay. We saw many of the guests were also travelers. The middle of the property has grassy area around the pool where pups can go. You can still hear the highway but it is not too bad. We also stayed in the very back of the hotel which was quieter but I didn’t like as much. We didn’t get Wi-Fi didn’t. Also, the back side of the hotel faces a residential area and there was a stray dog that approached us and tried to attack our pup. Not the hotel’s fault so we will probably stay here again on our next road trip but will probably request a room, not facing the very back of the property.

  Clean and close place for Carly. A little noisy from the Interstate but didn’t stop us from sleeping. Disappointed there wasn’t a breakfast and no coffee pot in the room.

  Great for our needs

  Clean room no frills. Great for just a stopover while traveling. Book a room away from the highway, the traffic was noisy. I slept fine but my wife and niece did not.

  Convenient Stay!

  Although it may not look like much from the outside, this was a great place to stay with my 2 dogs. The inside of the rooms look like they have been renovated, were clean, and the beds are decent. I requested a room close to grass, as I have a reactive dog and they were very accommodating. Everything was easily accessible and convenient for the pups. The only thing missing would be breakfast!

  Ok Motel 6

  This is the usual Motel 6. The bed was comfortable, sheets clean and soft, large TV. Beware there are SEVERAL Motel 6s in Amarillo; we landed at wrong one but BringFido helped us work it out.

  Super clean!

  Hotel was updated and very clean. No carpet and modern. Lots of people staying with their dogs and had no issues with anyone. Nice grassy areas and super well lit parking lot.

  Good location along the interstate in Amarillo. The front desk was very nice and gave us a room towards the back of the property so that no lights or sound from the interstate would bother us.

  Ask for a room at the back!

  No problem with the room itself as long as you're expecting a bare bones experience. It was clean, (smelling strongly of cleaning chemicals, but that went away after a while when I turned the fan on). My room faced the Interstate, though, and the noise was relentless, as were the bright lights. The black-out curtains did their best, but really couldn't compete because of the gaps at the top, and all around the door even when it was locked and bolted. That said, I knew I had chosen the cheapest option for this stop, and it was clean and had a bed.

  They had a large grass area for my dogs. The rooms were clean and stocked. Friendly staff. I would stay again on our way traveling.

  Lots of grass & laminate floors

  The room was a little aged, but nothing that grossed me out. I appreciated the laminate floors so there was no lingering smell or stains from pet accidents. I also appreciate the lower bed so my small dog could jump up on her own. I felt safe going out for a 4am potty trip too.

  I accidentally forgot my dogs water and food bowls and had to turn back. The staff had rinsed them out and set them aside for me. Thanks so much!

  Found bedbugs when we first arrived so we turned around and left immediately and was able to get a room at Fairfield Inn & Suites.

  Okay

  Rooms recently renovated and clean. Solid for an overnight stay. No place for dogs to relieve themselves. Field next door is riddled with trash, broken glass and stiff grasses that hurt dog paws. There is a park up the road a few minutes. No off leash area (technically) but nice for a walk and plenty of grass for bathroom breaks.

  Really Good Rooms!

  This hotel experience was such a pleasant surprise! The rooms at this hotel appeared to have just been remodeled and were perfect for traveling with a pet. The floors were new laminate and there were great.
  The rooms included a microwave and a refrigerator, both very handy. The one improvement to the rooms would be for new doors as they looked a bit battered, but were still perfectly safe. The neighbor appeared to be a bit sketchy, but turned out to not be a problem. The motel is super convenient to the tollway, and Starbucks is just down the road!

  Good hotel for 1 night

  The hotel was very clean and well-kept. The 1st floor room was ideal for our 14 year old dog. The parking lot was well lit and the hotel is convenient to the highway. We would stay again.

  The room was fabulous, large, spacious and beautifully remodeled. Only issue was the loud refrigerator motor that woke me at 2:00 am. The noise filled the whole room. Was not that loud earlier. So not a good night’s sleep but the room was really nice.

  Great stay

  Loved that room did not have carpet. Room was comfortable. Only downsides were noisy people outside that my dog barked at, and all green areas were covered in dog droppings. Motel can not keep people quiet outside but they might want to clean up the droppings. Unfortunately, some people don’t pick up after their dogs and then every dog around thinks it is a public dog toilet. This was our dog’s first motel stay, was a pretty good one.

  Drove from NC to San Diego and back. Stayed at 6 motels. This was the best of all of them! Huge pet walking area, great access to room and room had tons of storage. Really happy with this location!

  Homeless hanging out on propert

  The room is decent but right next to the freeway. Homeless were sleeping 50 feet from our room and using the hotel lobby. Wouldn’t stay there again.

  Super Cute Room!

  Very happy with our stay! Our room appeared freshly remodeled, I was thrilled to not have carpet flooring, and it was very cute and cozy. They are very pet friendly, which is nice. The only issue I had, which is not a fault of the motel, is that people don’t clean up after their pets, even with pet waste stations in the appropriate areas.

  Pandemic Travel

  I had to drive cross country with my dogs so I stayed at 3 different Motel 6 locations. This was the best - easy checkin, parked in front of my room, and they have a huge grassy field that I walked my dogs on. I probably wouldn’t stay at here without dogs - the freeway noise made it hard to sleep. But it was clean and my pups were happy.

  We had an easy check in and was able to park in the spot right in front of our room. I had my dog and cat with me and the carpet-free floors were great! They made me feel much better than other gross carpeted hotel rooms.

  My only complaint is for the size of the bathroom. It’s very small! I am 5’3” and when standing in the shower I could reach up and touch the ceiling.

  I rate this location three bones mostly because of the location next to I-40. However, the room was economical, clean, and comfortable. There was an open field next to the motel for exercising the dogs, and I would stay there again.

  Solid stay

  It's a $50 a night hotel so it's not going to be like staying at the ritz but check in was very easy and the room was clean. The front desk woman was very nice. The only thing is that they didn't have any shampoo bottles and it was on the loud side because of the highway.

  The check in was seamless. There was a well lit area to walk our dogs. No hassle about paying for pets or deposit.

  Clean and nice

  I was actually impressed! It was very nice for being less than $50/night. The room was clean and bright and looked exactly as pictured so there were no surprises! The room was very basic, but thats to be expected of cheap motels. If you're just passing through and need a place to rest your head, this will do the trick for a low price!
