Broken furniture and cabinets, fridge wouldn’t close, stains all over the walls, many random screw holes, AC unit had mold in it. Within 15 min of arriving, I had booked a different hotel. There was no way my dogs and I were staying there overnight.

Dirty “deluxe” room, zero hot water to shower morning and night and no response from management, at the time or subsequent to visit. Stickers/thorns all around the perimeter so not suitable for dogs, no designated dog relief area. All round disappointment which was a pity because El Paso City was fantastic!!!

The motel itself was clean and great for a overnight stay. I arrived at night and took my dogs around the property (near pool and back parking lot) when we got back to the room, both has horrible stickers that took an hour to remove from them. The points were so sharp, I could not use my bare hands to remove them. I was later told they were "goat-head thorns" and are common in the southwest region.

My room had a busted bathroom door and a bullet hole in the window. I arrived late in the evening so I didn't notice the bullet hole until morning when I was leaving. Other than that, the hotel was decent. I just need a place to stay for the night with my dogs. I had a basic room with no microwave or mini fridge. Room was clean, but had a strong cleaning solution smell. Lots of eateries nearby which was a huge plus when traveling.

It was a clean and comfortable stay. The air conditioning worked great. The staff was friendly. Also not a far drive to PetSmart, my pup was not wanting to eat her regular food after being on the road for 3 days, it was nice to have a pet store nearby.

Pleasant place. We stayed right next to the office! My doggo was happy and they do have areas to let your puppets relief themselves. Just take your own baggies to clean it up! They ran out in the back. Comfy beds, comfy room. If you book, make sure the fridge and microwave are included. Mine did, but you have to make sure when you do that. Otherwise you won't get a room with either.

The room was clean and nice size but the people upstairs on a linoleum floor, heard them all night long. Traffic noise was bad too. Good location, clean room, but hard to sleep.

Managed to get a room where I could park directly in front of the room door, which is very handy when traveling with a Great Dane and his giant crate and bed... Only negative was that the first assigned room smelled of weed, however I requested another and it was taken care of very quickly by the front desk. It's a great location next to the I-10 and a short drive to plenty of food options.... Unlike many highway motels in cities, the neighborhood seems fine. I walked my dog up and down a couple of blocks and didn't feel unsafe at all....

I was skeptical about staying at another Motel 6 after my last experience. I am so glad I reviewed all of the comments! Yes, it’s a modest hotel. But clean room, vinyl floors (in case of an accident, easy to clean up), basic amenities for dogs and people alike. AND $0 pet fee! Not many Motel 6’s are of this caliber, so be sure to research and go the extra mile or two for the best!

Great place to stop for the night. Super clean, staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms are basic with no fridge but it’s a safe place to rest your head.
