Cross country trip and this was first stop. Wasn’t the Taj Mahal and it was perfect. Allowed 4 medium dogs and a cat to stay in the room. I was afraid I would be sleeping in the SUV with the dogs at rest stops. Place was clean and service was great.

I’ve stayed at this Motel 6 multiple times over the years. It’s a bit older than many of the hotels in the area, but it’s always been clean and well managed. It’s a great option if you’re on a budget.

One of the better Motel 6s we have stayed at and definitely recommend. Very clean and friendly. Our dogs and cats had a peaceful stay. As others have stated, the potty area isn’t the greatest - narrow and rocky, so if your pet is particular, they may struggle doing their business without a grassy area. We walked to back fence where there were trees and less rocks and that helped.

No problem with bringing your pets....
Just a note.....Odessa Motel 6 is in the desert, there are a few weeds along the fence line for dogs to go. No grassy area at all for 500 miles ! Just be aware in case your doggie wont go on the dirt/stones.
Otherwise a very friendly Motel 6 for you and your furry friends.

It was clean. Motel staff was very helpful. Not fancy, but I didn’t need fancy. My dog didn’t need fancy. Now, if I could just convince my dog that she shouldn’t need to pee @ 4am, when it’s dark & cold outside, that would be great!
