We have stayed here before & love the ambiance of the open lobby & breakfast area with the (fake) fireplace. Room was super clean & loved the new, modern shower (no tub). The wraparound light surrounding the mirror is so bright, but not that blue-white that makes you look like a ghoul. Loved the soft cotton coverlet on the bed. My little dog sleeps on the bed, but I see housekeeping has a lint roller to dispense with dog hair. Smart! The staff is so friendly & make a point of wishing you well. The only downside is there’s very little in the way of restaurants at this exit. Just a Burger King next door & a Waffle House across the Hwy.

From ease of check-in to the cleanliness of our room and the friendliness of the staff, it was a perfect stay while we were on the road. A $20 pet fee is a lot easier to handle than some of the other hotels around.

Requested a first floor room as we have an elderly dog. Was given the 3rd floor and told all pet-friendly rooms are on the 3rd floor. While checking out, saw two different dogs coming out of 1st floor rooms. Room was also very dirty.

Quiet, comfortable, clean. Friendly staff and great outdoor space for the dog. Although we didn't eat breakfast the food looked great with lots of options. We'd stay again.

Very nice, new hotel - friendly staff, easy location, plenty of green areas to walk the dog, clean, quiet, all of the things I look for. The place was filled with wonderful dog people and the staff clearly enjoys having the dogs. We’ll be back!

Apparently the pet rooms are on the first floor. Ours was, at any rate. Everything as expected for a room at this price level. Note that the fire ant issue that another reviewer pointed out is still a potential problem in the warmer months. We saw what was likely fire ant nests, but no actual ants.

The hotel rooms were new, roomy, comfortable, and had all the amenities needed. Front hotel staff was extremely nice.
My recommendation for improvement would be a nicer dog walk area. It was along the back side of the parking lot and although there were poop bags and a trash can stationed there - there were rocks and loads of fire ant mounts all over. We needed to be extremely careful.
