Busy location for traffic
Although we looked at this location on a map prior to choosing and it appeared to be very remoted, it's actually pretty busy. It's tucked in a corner right along a highway and there's no grass whatsoever for potty breaks. There is a very small designated potty space that is probably good for small dogs. The hotel has the option of stairs or elevator which is nice for dogs that aren't familiar with elevators as our room was on the second floor. Breakfast is great! Parking lot is shared with a next door Chilli's so weekend is busy.

I couldn't believe how nice this hotel was especially for the price. Great for your dog. $20 fee. The rooms are huge and gorgeous. So clean. Beds are very comfortable and the hotel was so quiet. Great breakfast too! Concierge was so nice and accommodating.

First the good. The hotel was convenient to the highway, but not well signed (we drove past the entrance). If you are into shopping, it is adjacent to an outlet mall. This was the cleanest looking hotel room I have ever stayed in. The beds were extremely comfortable and invitingly made up, with good quality linens. The included breakfast was the best "free" breakfast I have ever seen (and it is available starting at 5 am on weekdays!). There is a Chili's across the parking lot and several other restaurants in walking distance.
Now the not so good. Although we had reserved a king room, when we checked in, at around 2 pm, we were informed that they only had double queen rooms available. That room was adequate in size for the two of us and our one big dog. The open bathroom door blocked access to the closet. The fridge was a mini fridge (smaller than bar size) and was inconveniently located inside an armoire). Most concerning for BringFido was the lack of access to anywhere pleasant to walk a dog. Luckily, our old guy is happy to relieve himself on gravel, as there was no grass around.
Still, alll considered, we would stay here again when we pass through Barstow.
