  Not the best

  You get what you pay for. Barely hot water, breakfast was disappointing (mini flavored muffins, make your own pancake machine, white toast). Room was totally outdated. BIGGEST THING WAS NO USB PORTS. No way to charge your phone.

  Horrible Experience!

  Front desk clerk who claims he owns the property was extremely rude and verbally abusive. He will gaslight you and bully you. There is so much more that occurred, but I will be filing several complaints about the treatment we received. And we checked out and went to the nearby Wyndam and that was a pleasant experience. In my opinion, avoid staying here!

  Good Location

  Renovated property that is still a bit “rough” around the edges: vanity light not working, sink stopper missing, holes in lamp shade. Nice vinyl floor in hallway and room, good location close to I-95, quiet at night (no road noise) reasonably clean. Good place to walk your dog. Breakfast was minimalistic: cold cereal, mini muffins and white bread for toast and cook your own pancakes if you are in to that. We will most likely not stay here again.

  Great place to stay with dogs

  Last minute decision to stay. Looked at the mixed reviews and liked the no carpet in the rooms. Very friendly and helpful desk clerk. Free coffee and cookies in the lobby, nice! $80 plus $20 for each dog but in reality the rooms are outside entrance so how would they know? We are honest and paid. Very clean room in the back (164) a bit dated, good TV, fridge, microwave. If you’re traveling alone, I wouldn’t want to stay back there but we have 2 big German Shepherd’s so no worries. Someone rattles our doorknob late and the girls barking probably scared the crap out of them!! We ate at the restaurant attached. It was fine, excellent service, hubby highly recommends the cheesecake. They give a nice military discount and ask if you’re military. Hotel breakfast was ok, no eggs or toast. Waffles, cereal, yogurt, apples. Outdoor space was nice, fire pit, pool (too cold for me), volleyball area, and a few different grassy areas for the dogs. We’d definitely stay again.

  Great pet friendly stay

  The floors not being carpeted was a major cleanliness plus and my dog loved the low couch, but unfortunately the shower hadn't been well cleaned and had the previous guests hair in numerous places.

  Great location

  Absolutely dog-friendly hotel. Made it very easy to get in and out to walk the dog, and provided a dog area equipped with waste bags and trash receptacle. I'll stay there again in a heartbeat!

  Clean and affordable

  It was great to see the hallways and rooms completely uncarpeted. The room and common areas were extremely clean and much better maintained than other places in the same price range. The dogs and I will definitely return next time we're near Savannah.

  Pros and Cons

  Pros: comfortable bed, clean floors, lots of towels each of our 2 night stay. Cons: strange odor, soiled couch, no hot water the first day, no coffee the second day. Could be really a good value if couch was removed and odor disappeared.

  Very tired room

  The check-in was easy, staff was competent and friendly. The good stuff ended there. The room was
  not acceptable. The sofa was covered with stains, the phone did not work, and whoever was staying upstairs had children who were running wild. No carpeting made it sound like a herd of elephants. We left and found another hotel

  First time stay & won’t be our last

  From our first impressions walking in the lobby this was the right choice. The front lobby attendant very friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless and nice size. The continental breakfast was hot and fresh and good selection. Can only hope our next experience with pet friendly hotel is this nice!!

  Nice place to stay

  Great, dog friendly place at a good price. Staff were friendly and were very good to my dogs. I appreciate the fact that there was no carpet in the rooms and there was a good spot for my dogs to potty right in front of the doors.

  Not chairs in room

  The hotel is a bit bare bones, but clean. Not that cheap… we paid $110 with the pet fee ($15).
  A lamp switch was broken off when we got there, but was swapped quickly for a new one. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was huge, but a lot of empty space - no couch, or table next to the easy chair. There wasn’t any place in the room for both of us to sit down and eat. We had to take turns at the desk. Anyway, I guess we won’t be staying here again.

  Room was clean, small breakfast included hours were short only 6a-9a. Only gave 2 bones because even well behaved dogs are not allowed to be left alone in the room and small grassy area was dirty, no bags or disposal container provided.

  Our room was spacious, clean, and looked like it had been updated in the last few years. We would definitely stay at again. Breakfast was a bit sparse but this is the nicest Super 8 I have stayed at.

  Perfect overnight stay

  Wanted to stay near I-95 exits to Savannah, saw good reviews for this place and gave it a shot. Exceeded expectations. Very clean, HUGE room, quiet, courteous staff, good space for walking the dog, fair price and reasonable pet fee. Good and varied eating options nearby. Breakfast offerings were minimal but a small negative versus the many positives. Would definitely stay here again.

  First time at a Super 8

  We didn’t have high expectations for this budget hotel. It didn’t have fancy bells and whistles, but the staff was friendly (even to our dog) and the room was clean. Vinyl flooring in the halls and rooms - no smelly old hotel carpet. There was a $15 “doggie” fee - not too bad and you can’t leave your dog in the room unattended. The breakfast was basic, but OK. The only problem I had with the room was not all of my power outlets worked. I told the man at the desk about that and he thanked me. We were very pleased with our stay.

  Just ok

  Not very friendly management. Place was a bit tired. TV remote was broken, chair had holes in it, light bulbs were missing from the lamp. Didn't have big expectations but it still fell short.
