  Very clean!

  Great location and VERY clean! We were only there for about 12 hours, but after being in the car for equally that long it was great to have such a large room to stretch out for us AND our dog! It was a bit noisy with some clod hoppers above us but all in all, a good place to stay.

  Accommodations okay

  We were traveling with our 3 dogs. We arrived at the hotel late in the evening after a long day of driving. As I checked in the front desk clerk asked if we were traveling with pets. I said yes and we completed the checkout process. The following morning I walked through the lobby with the whole crew several times before we began loading up to continue the drive home. Suddenly the hotel manager (possibly owner) ran out and presented my husband with a form stating that we had three dogs.

  When I asked the man what the form was about he stated that the clerk from the night before had left the number of dogs space blank and that we would be charged the fee per dog. He also indicated that they had a 2 dog limit. This person did not offer to provide us with an updated receipt and we did not receive an email receipt for our stay. Our son is looking at attending the university in Champaign so we may be frequent visitors but after the experience with the manager, we will be avoiding this Best Western.

  Frigid pool

  We chose this location on 2 criteria, pet friendly and an indoor pool. Upon arriving I was told if we wanted to use the pool check with the front desk but it cold even though they say it is heated. My 5 year old granddaughter was so excited to go swimming. Her and her dad donned their swimsuits to return to the room minutes later because it was unbearably cold. I could have found a less expensive hotel or paid more to take the dog right next door to the Holiday Inn Express. False advertising in their site stating there is a pool to use. Along with the lack of swimming, the bathroom door hit the toilet, not allowing it to open fully, and there was hair in the tub. Breakfast was lackluster and lastly, at 10:58 I was called to ask when I was checking out. Their hospitality needs worked on, their pool needs to be heated, and their bathroom needs more space. One and done, never again.

  Walter’s first hotel stay

  The room was very clean and set up perfectly. The front desk people were amazing! Breakfast was a little better than normal hotel breakfast options. Very good experience.

  Great overall experience

  We just stayed overnight, but the rooms were updated and well-equipped, the bed was comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was a nice perk. There was plenty of grassy space outside of the hotels and a back entrance so we could avoid walking the dog through the main lobby.

  Pets allowed but nothing special. Not the cleanest and floors/walls were very thin with lots of noise from adjacent rooms.

  There were at least 6 dogs in the hotel with lots of barking in the hallways. The floor in the room was very cheap and poorly installed vinyl. The pillows were very small and not comfortable. We will look elsewhere next time.

  Super Dog Friendly

  The employees were super friendly, the hotel was clean, and remodel is nice. The best part is how dog friendly they are. The dog rooms are on the first floor and have a soft wood vinyl flooring. There is also a nice dog walk area and waste station. I highly recommend if you’re traveling w pups.

  Clean and Comfortable

  The room and building were very clean and convenient. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept on. They had a fridge to keep the dog food cold. Overall a great experience.

  Good location and comfortable

  Room was not ready when we checked in after 6 pm. Room floor was soaking with cleaner/disinfectant when we finally got checked in. Otherwise ok.

  Friendly and clean

  First-floor accommodations for three large dogs. LVP flooring which was perfect. Large modern room with comfy king bed. Multiple hotels in area but one of the few that allowed 3 dogs. Nice amenities with microwave and refrigerator plus morning breakfast (dogs not allowed). Plenty of green space for potty with bags. Friendly staff.

  Clean room. Does have a potty station, but no bags. Staff didn't seem thrilled to accommodate the dogs, but no problems with anyone.
