I was hesitant to stay at Sheraton because I ready a few reviews about not enough green space. As an owner of two large dogs, there is plenty of green space! Room is very basic but has everything we need to keep us and the dogs happy. There is a Target and a Costco close by too if the doggies need anything or if you forgot to bring something. We usually stay downtown Chicago, but glad we didn’t this time.

they gave us a room in a private wing off the lobby, near an outside door and we never had to go into the lobby. we parked right outside - easy to load car and there was no pet fee. we spent 2 weeks driving cross country and this was by far the best hotel we stayed at.

Great place to stay especially with pets! There is a small lake with a nature walk behind the hotel which is perfect for a dog walk. The staff was very friendly!
- NeenaAug 13, 2022Fabulous Dog Friendly Hotel with a ton of Green Space
This hotel was amazing, and is very dog friendly. I had read another review and was hesitant but had limited options for our needs. When we arrived I was extremely surprised. There is a lot of green space on the hotel property, but also hundreds of acres of trails with a pond behind the hotel. It was a great place to let the dog get rid of some energy after a 7 hour drive. As for the hotel service - it was great as well. They put us on the first floor beside a side entrance for easy in and out access. They gave us a door sign to alert hotel housekeeping that there was dog in the room. It was easy check in, and a great experience.

Not very dog friendly, put us on the 5th floor, only one entrance, hardly any grass for you to take your dog out on. If we didn’t have dogs it was a very nice place. But for being dog friendly it sucks.
