  Great Stay

  We stopped in Kearny on our way to Denver. Desk person was great and gave us a room right near a side door. I just wish more pet owners would clean up after their pets.

  Great dog friendly hotel!

  The staff at the Microtel in Kearney were so kind and welcoming to our dog Kacie and provided us a map of a nearby trail to walk her on. The hotel was very comfortable and we appreciated that we could bring our dog with us on vacation!

  Manager is fantastic. I made a mistake and booked two rooms by mistake and she credited me for the empty room I never used.

  Pretty good stay

  Interesting room set up. Large enough for my two medium to large sized dogs to sprawl out. The hotel had ample space in the front of the property, as well as a cute walkway in the back. The street/immediate area had a strange, slightly questionable vibe. Would stay again

  Great hotel to bring your dog!

  Our visit to Kearney Microtel was great! It is a very dog friendly hotel. Plenty of space to walk your dog. A single queen room is a bit small with a medium sized dog especially if you plan to stay more than a couple nights. Overall, the rooms are nice and clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is really good with variety. Better than some other hotels we have stayed in. The dogs treats are a nice perk as well. We would stay her again for sure!!

  We are traveling and only stayed one night. The room smelled musty but we were able to air it out. Room was clean and usable. Breakfast was included.

  Clean, wonderfully laid out rooms. Super location. 11 minute walk to a super dog friendly bar on what Kearney calls a lake. Hotel is a super value for the price.

  Clean rooms and sheets. Lots of grassy areas around hotel. Short drive to parks; Yanney Park is a great option for a morning or evening walk.

  Just the basics

  The best thing about the room is that it is pet friendly. But the hotel needs attention. The room smelled damp and the carpets felt similarly. The AC was broken and didn’t blow very cool. The front desk staff is super nice and they made the experience enjoyable.

  Very Dog & Human Friendly

  One of the best dog friendly places we have stayed and budget friendly too. We had a studio suite which was great and very clean. Location is close to a few restaurants and an excellent local coffee place, Barista. We will come back when driving west.

  Great hotel - convenient and clean

  We liked our room, it was clean, and had an interesting vibe, not your average room. We were conveniently located near the exit for our two pups. The density of restaurants was just what we needed for our morning and evening meals. Very enjoyable.

  Comfy and dog friendly

  Liked: Staff was very friendly and helpful. Check-in was a breeze. I found the bed to be fairly comfortable and the pillows were nice, not flat and thin. Breakfast was a good spread. This hotel is dog friendly with dogs kept on the first floor when possible. Plenty of grass outside and treats in the lobby. Disliked: Not super quiet and the elevator had some noise and shaking that is a bit nerve wracking. Luckily it's only a 3-floor building. Kearney is always my stopping point when driving cross country to visit family. This hotel will definitely be my go-to from now on, especially when traveling with a dog.

  Love this place

  Very friendly, helpful staff. Room was clean, good size. I had a queen suite. It had a bar area with a small sink and sofa. Dogs next room over were noisy, but can't blame hotel for that. Waffles for breakfast!! My little guy loved the bed.

  This was the second time we have stayed with our pets. Great service on checking in, clerk also gave us a listing of all Microtel properties showing which were pet friendly. Close to convenience store and restaurants.

  Nice for a dog hotel

  Modern, clean, friendly staff, felt safe, convenient off of the freeway and for food choices. Only issue is with the Microtel chain and the fact they do not offer King beds.

  Quiet, clean room

  This is a very nice location just off the interstate. They have dog friendly rooms on the lower level located close to the exit doors. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was your typical waffles, biscuits & gravy, cereal, yogurt options. There is a good coffee shop located close by and Casey’s for snacks or other things.

  TREATS GALORE!

  The staff was ready for us! Treats at the front desk for our pup. The room was roomy. the staff was great but no great space for walking which we like to do. We did head off to a local park however with our dog and he really enjoyed the outdoor space- we just had to drive a couple of blocks to it and it worked out well. Quiet and clean rooms- no past pet smells in the room. Can't say enough about the staff- they were great!!

  Rooms are pretty old. I could smell dog pee. Once I turned on the air it helped the odor. Rooms could use an updating. Staff friendly and taking brown bag breakfast was really appreciated. There are lots of restaurants and a Casey’s next door.

  Adjoining rooms

  This was our first stop on a trip to Tahoe with our two girls and our dog. The rooms was fairly clean, some smell. The room was small and dingy. The staff were welcoming. Our biggest issue was that we were in an adjoining room with other pet owners. The dogs were sniffing and barking at each other under the door often. Not the best experience. A bright spot was the dedicated green space with poop bags for dogs. Biggest complaint was the adjoining room.

  Nicest All Trip

  Driving from California to Chicago, this was by far, the nicest place we stayed. Friendliest and helpful staff, great breakfast, super clean, convenient, and they truly like dogs. They have a great walking area and trail, and even welcome treats for your pup. And only $10 pet fee with a reasonable room rate makes it 5 star!

  Pet & People Perfect!

  Our first Microtel experience was at this location in Oct 2018 with our 10 week old Golden Retriever. It was great then and now! Clean & comfy, courteous staff. Molly loved it again as well.
