The grounds were all white rock. Grass was not that close to the hotel. The room was old and musty smelling and TV had no signal. When I called the office they said someone would come in to look at it. I didn't bother, not with a stranger coming into my room. Would have been difficult with my 2 dogs and my cat. The only good thing was the Mexican restaurant that shared the parking lot.

Very dog friendly in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of places to walk our dog. Across the street from the college and very close to a coffee shop and convenience store. Had everything we needed for a overnight on the road.

I was passing through Ashland on my way to CA. I stopped to explore the city, which I highly recommend. I decided to stay the night and booked lodging at the Flagship Inn. The folks are great, checked in no problem. the room was clean and simple. There’s a $15 dog fee. Sammich is across the street for a simple meal and a good coffeehouse a 1/2 block away. a bit of a walk to downtown. It is a great overnight place if you are passing through Ashland.

The Inn is adjacent to a nice residential area where you can walk your dogs liked you lived there. For a quick potty before bedtime there is a grassy area next to the rear parking lot. Rooms were very nice. The Inn is located right on the main drag and about 1 1/2 miles from the city center. Easy to find. Easy to get to.
