Nice walking area w/poop bags. Staff was very friendly and loved our dog! Furry Friend Inside tag for our door to let others know there was a dog in our room. Accommodating -- our room was on 2nd floor but no issue switching to the first floor. Decent breakfast. Staying again on our return trip!

Not a bad fit for you and your pooch. The hotel is conveniently located off Interstate 81. There is ample green space surrounding the property. We were there on the weekend and the businesses that owned the land were shut. Not sure what it's like during the week? We were able to go for a couple of long walks. The front desk engagement on that Saturday afternoon was pretty humorless and unfriendly; don't know if the guy was having a bad day or he's generally like that, but a smile would help. Regardless, the actual hotel was fine. Not up to the level of other Hamptons we'd stayed in during that trip, but acceptable. The building itself is kind of dated and showing its age. Still, the hotel was filled with fellow dog-travelers and everyone seemed to get along well.

The lobby area of the Hampton was fairly new and the room was clean and quiet. We only stayed one night are were not in the room much but it was big, and didn’t smell (as some pet-friendly hotel rooms do). My only complaint was the TV didn’t work, but otherwise we would stay there again if we were in the area.
