Excellent mud flats for pups
Stayed for 1 night in our tent with our older small breed dog and Labrador puppy two summers ago. Wonderful time running through the mud flats with the dogs, great people, no bad views. Mosquitos were bad so spray or screen room a must.

Indy Had a Blast!
My husband and I found this campground through Bringfido.com and we all had a blast. They are very welcoming to dogs. You just have to bring vet papers in case they request... I think that's reasonable. Many other campers also brought their pups, and it was nice to see all of them.
Indy (our dog) absolutely loved playing on the bay during low tide. He seriously went nuts running around on the flats. My husband was a little nervous walking on the mud flats, but it isn't as messy as he expected. We also took Indy to the campground's beach and he went crazy there, too.
For people, it's a very pretty, relaxing, and laid-back place. You can purchase a clamming permit and dig your own clams if you wish. The campground will also sell you live lobster. We will definitely be returning.
