Designed by architect Lansing Holden in 1910, this was the home of the co-founder of the Woolworth Retail Empire, Charles Sumner Woolworth. The iconic property has undergone extensive renovations and has been completely restored. The stately grand house consists of 9000 SF and inspires relaxation and peaceful living with original architectural details. With natural light beaming through windows, soaring ceilings with original woodwork, an adjoining solarium and spacious study hall and dining room this residence doesn't miss a thing. The house is filled with five marble fireplaces, gorgeous original wood floors and a full basement for extensive storage. Let's not forget the whole house generator in case the lights go out.
