We have the entryway scheduled to be fully renovated and beautified. While the space is fully functional it can be a bit of eye sore. We are working to have this fixed within the next few weeks. This is correctly pictured in the listing photos. In addition, you will notice a space on the second floor for a washer dryer - we special ordered the proper appliances for this space and they will be installed soon.
While the listing clearly states no parking provided we are working to create a parking situation that assists our guests. If you are having difficulty finding parking, please feel free to contact the property manager who may be able to assist.
Look no further for your upcoming holiday to if you are searching for an enormous, modern, central house with its own distinctive designer style just a few steps from Atlantic City's greatest casinos, restaurants, and white sandy beaches.
While we do not tolerate excessive partying (particularly with guests who are not included on your reservation), we welcome bachelor party and bachelorette party groups. Please advise beforehand, and we are happy to make recommendations for your bachelor/bachelorette parties!
We also welcome groups coming to town on golf trips, business/corporate retreats, family reunions, and milestone birthdays.
Guest Access:
Guests have private access to the entire house as well as free Wi-Fi, complimentary coffee, and access to your own streaming apps on the Smart TV.
The Neighborhood:
One of the most famous cities on the East Coast, Atlantic City is known for its iconic Boardwalk, sandy beaches (free! no beach badges required) and bustling casinos. Our townhouse is located in the center of the action, with many of the city’s most desirable attractions a short walk away.
Our specific neighborhood is the Orange Loop in North Beach, which is home to several of the city’s most desirable casinos: Ocean Casino, Hard Rock Casino, and Resorts. Bally’s and Caesars are not far, either.
Start your day with coffee from Hayday Coffee, located on S New York Ave, about 2 blocks away or with a yoga class at The Leadership Studio, a block away.
The Orange Loop is also home to such destinations as the Tennessee Avenue Beer Hall, Rhythm & Spirits, and Bar32, each of which are practically in our backyard. In addition, the famous Irish Pub & Inn is a short walk away, as are an abundance of bars, restaurants, and attractions (like Steel Pier and the Lucky Snake Arcade).
Atlantic City is an entertainment-centric town with attractions for everyone. The city attracts big-name stars who regularly appear at its many hotels and theaters. You’ll also find great local acts at beachside venues and local music joints like Anchor Rock Club.
Many Atlantic City institutions like Dock’s Oyster House, Knife & Fork Inn, Cafe 2825, and Chef Vola’s are located within about 1 mile.
Relax on the beach with one of our beach chairs while the kids dig in the sand and enjoy a dip in the water, take surfing lessons, or keep your kids entertained for hours at one of the city’s many arcades (the largest of which is Lucky Snake inside Showboat).
Leave the car behind and stroll to the many glamorous casinos nearby along the boardwalk with many more attractions and things to see and do in AC all close by:
The Boardwalk – Located at the end of the block behind us and runs throughout the entire waterfront
Orange Loop – 1 min walk; located on the block behind our building
Ocean Casino Resort – 4 min drive / 14 min walk
Hard Rock Casino Hotel – 3 min drive / 12 min walk
Steel Pier – Rides and Carnival Games – 3 min drive / 10 min walk
Showboat / Lucky Snake Arcade – 8 min walk
Resorts Casino – 5 min walk
The famous Borgata Casino – 8 min drive
Bally’s Casino – 3 min drive
Tanger Outlets – 4 min drive
Whether you love music and dance or you're a history and culture fan, you'll be enchanted by Atlantic City and its never ending entertainment or if relaxing is more your thing, spend your time at the beach, just 5 minutes away or simply unwind sitting out on your own private deck– what could be better!
Getting Around:
The best way to get around in Atlantic City is on your own two feet with most attractions within walking distance of one another.
If you're worn out from walking, you can hop on the AC's Jitney minibuses which are inexpensive and run 24 hours a day (for a $2.25 cash fare). The minibuses operate along Atlantic & Pacific Avenue and make stops at casinos and major attractions in the city, including along Pacific Ave right near our house.
For a more historic mode of transport, you can opt to be pushed along the boardwalk in a shaded rolling chair to see the sights from a different perspective – operators charge by the block, with a minimum fare of $5.
You can also use ride sharing apps like Uber/Lyft or call a taxi with cars available anytime of the day, or bring along your own car with free or inexpensive street parking available throughout much of the city.
Other Things to Note:
1) Pets are welcome for an additional pet fee. Please include them in the Guest Count of your search, and let us know.
2) There is one Smart TV in the living room. Please note that we do not have cable TV.
3) In an effort to combat noise concerns and out of consideration for our neighbors, we have noise sensors installed at the property to monitor noise levels. We do not record audio of any type. This is strictly to ensure that noise does not eclipse a reasonable level, particularly in the evening hours. All we receive is a time-stamped decibel reading. You should have nothing to worry about as long as you're not engaging in excessive partying.
4) Please note that per Atlantic City's rules, we are not permitted to rent to groups under the age of 21.
5) Please also note that while fully renovated and modernized, the home was built over 100 years ago, so it may have some quirks to embrace.
6) We have the entryway scheduled to be fully renovated and beautified. While the space is fully functional it can be a bit of eye sore. We are working to have this fixed within the next few weeks. This is correctly pictured in the listing photos.
7) You will notice a space on the second floor for a washer dryer - we special ordered the proper appliances for this space and they will be installed soon. This is noted on the listing as well.
8) Space heaters are provided on the 1st floor to remedy any drafts.
9) As we are located in a city, parking is at a premium. We are working on an off-street parking solution, but for the time being, street parking is generally available on our block. If you are having difficulty finding parking, please feel free to contact the property manager who may be able to assist.
Interaction with Guests:
If we are not near the property, our property manager lives close by and is accessible.
