Nestled in the heart of Colorado's #1 hidden gem mountain town, Buffalo Sunrise Lodge will provide you with all the Colorado's mountains have to offer. As an entire private main level of a triplex cabin you will be steps away breath taking hikes, amazing views, and the small town atmosphere of Green Mountain Falls, Co. This BnB features two bedrooms, two baths, full kitchen, a spacious living room with vaulted ceilings and a fireplace, and a large wrap around deck.
Your space is one of three private apartments in our cabin, and is separate from the two downstairs apartments. NO central air conditioning in the unit, as is typical in the mountains. A window unit is provided during the summer months for the the living room. Please open the windows and enjoy the cool evening air to help cool down the home. You will probably be able to hear the guests moving about downstairs, but we do ask that all of our guests be considerate of those who stay in the other apartments. Within your apartment there are two bedrooms with a very comfortable king bed in the master and twin over full bunk bed in the 2nd bedroom. The master bedroom has its own bathroom with jet tub. There is a second full bathroom off the living room. The spacious living room comes with a pull out couch, fireplace, and kitchen with big windows overlooking beautiful Green Mountain Falls. The patio area is a wrap-around deck where you will have your own propane grill to use while you enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife of Green Mountain Falls. The space has a Fire TV that includes a variety of streaming services. Feel free to log into your favorite streaming services during your stay. We ask that all smoking be done away from the property. Absolutely no smoking inside or outside of the home.
Guest are provided with their own parking area where one car can park. There is a parking sign with the name of your cabin on it ("Buffalo Sunrise"). Please be considerate of the other guests and leave room for 2 other cars to fit in the parking area. If a second vehicle needs parking there is public parking down the hill by the lake. It takes 3 1/2 min to walk back up to the cabin. Please do not park on the street.
DreamBnB is here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is up to you. You will be able to self check-in upon arrival. We ask that all guests respect each other's privacy unless interaction is welcome!
Green Mountain Falls is one of the neatest mountain towns in Colorado. It offers great hikes (Thomas, Catamount, and Crystal Falls Trail Heads), Unique eats (The Pantry and the Blue Moose Tavern), shopping, and the Green Mountain Falls Pond; all a few minutes walk from this BnB.
You will have one dedicated spot for parking. The town of Green Mountain Falls has public parking. We recommend that guest have a 4WD/AWD vehicle in winter/snowy months (November-May) Please not parking on the street.
Dog Friendly - One well behaved dog is welcome but we ask that they stay off the furniture and bedding. Consider the guests around you and take your pet with you if they bark/whine when you leave them.
We are sorry but NO cats allowed
NO smoking or vaping inside the apartment (smoking fees along with damage fees may occur if the home smells of smoke)
Cleaning Fee is set by the Cleaning Pro that we contract with. They are trained, experienced, and go through the AirBnb 5 Step enhanced cleaning process which includes disinfecting high traffic/touch areas (remote controls, light switches, rails, etc.)
The town of Green Mountain Falls charges tax for all short term rentals $4.50/night.
1 night = $4.50
2 nights = $9.00
3 nights = $13.50
and so on. This city tax will be added to the guest charges.
Travel insurance is recommended in case the unexpected happens.
For stays longer than 30 nights we do require a lease agreement, background check, copy of drivers licence, and a one time insurance fee to be paid before your arrival. For stays 30-59 nights it will be $370 and each additional 30 night block of your stay will be an additional $130

It is recommended that guests have travelers insurance for the duration of their stay
No Smoking Please (Damages will be incurred if found that there has been smoking)
Quiet Hours are from 10pm to 8am. No more than the authorized # of guests at the house during quiet hours.
No disruptive events or parties. Airbnb guidelines state that if a guest is reported for a disruptive party or violating Airbnb's party and events policy, they may be subject to suspension or removal from the Airbnb Platform. In addition, the host may also ask that you vacate the property and no refund will be given.
Fee schedule for violating house rules:
-Unauthorized late check-out: $50 immediately, $50 for every 30 minutes after checkout (i.e. +$100 at 30 min after checkout, $150 at an hour after checkout).
-Unauthorized Parties or events: $250
-Pet cleaning fee (if pet uses the bathroom in the house, or has excessive shedding, etc.): $100- $300
-Deep clean fee, if required (i.e. vomit, carpet stain, bodily fluids, or excessive trash, etc.): $100
-Broken/damaged items: charged at replacement value
Parking: Guests are limited to one parking spot. There is street parking across the street if needed for additional vehicles
Travel insurance is recommended. As with any vacation, unexpected situations sometimes occur that can put a damper on even the best-planned trips. We stand by our firm by our cancelation policy and getting travel insurance is your best option for protecting your trip from the unexpected. Upon completing your reservation, we will provide you with an optional third-party Travel Insurance policy.
We use third-party guest screening: We use a third-party company for guest verification. Upon booking you give permission to the property manager to use a third-party to verify your identity and check criminal databases to confirm your reservation. Complete terms regarding the guest verification can be provided by the property manager. You may receive an email to complete your screening. Please check your spam inbox for this email and contact the property manager if you have any questions.
