  Loved this place. People were welcoming, rooms were very nice, first floor room so easy to walk the puppies, great breakfast and right off interstate 95. We will return when in that area.

  Very convenient for a dog visit great out door space for dogs to get some exercise on a long trip and do their business. Dog friendly floors and plenty of space in the room.

  Wouldn’t recommend

  Room was very shabby looking. Torn dust ruffles and shades. I also keep telling people that the room may have been haunted. My dog was very upset and unsettled there all night. Also very disappointed with the location. Absolutely no nearby restaurant with an outdoor eating area to bring your dog. Ended up ordering from Outback and eating in my “haunted” room.

  Pleasant Surprise

  Plenty of parking. Nice staff. Room was no frills, but very clean. No bad smells. Slept soundly. Breakfast was adequate. Worth the price and will stay again.

  Clean room and friendly staff

  Our only glitch was checking in. Was told it was a « desk” problem that would be fixed. When we checked out, we were told that the reservation was for two nights. Our credit card was charged for the second night, but a refund was make minus the pet fee.

  Great hotel for dogs!

  Stayed there numerous times and it's always a pleasure. Clean rooms and quiet since hotel is off the main road. Our lab likes it there too!

  Stress Free Experience

  We appreciated how easy the hotel made our experience with our pup. The only criticism we have is that there was a full length mirror in our room and when our pup looked at it she thought there was another dog and started barking. The hotel provided an extra sheet so we could cover it up and we had no issues after that. There was plenty of space in the room to set up her portable crate and for her to play. The outside area was also nice. Overall it was a stress free experience. We’ll be back again if we are in that area in the future.

  Perfectly fine, no issues. Room was clean, no pet smells, but a couple stains. Lots of dogs there. Would stay again, but may not go out of my way to do so. Not my favorite pet friendly stay, but acceptable!

  Great stay at this hotel! All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I have stayed in other hotels that smelled from previous pets. These rooms were so clean and odor free! Bonus was the great free breakfast!

  Comfortable and Convenient

  We stayed at the Country Inn in both NC and SC on our journey back and forth from Florida and they were both great. Clean, comfortable, and friendly staff. Located right off 95, convenient for traveling. Spacious room for dog. We initially had 4th floor which was tough for dog who doesn’t like elevator, but were able to get first floor which was much easier. Staff was very accommodating and they had a full service breakfast!

  Breakfast was not up to the average stay, powdered eggs were not edible. Place needs an upgrade, no doggy bags, crap everywhere.

  We had a late check in due to traffic issues (9:30) but all of my requests were honored! The room was extremely clean and smelled great!! The dog walk areas were also clean. The only thing lacking was the tissue box was lacking tissues, but no problem really.

  Updated Hotel

  Close to two major highways for easy access. The hotel was renovated several years ago and seems nicer than some Country Inns. VERY nice employees at location. Lots of parking and green space to walk your pup. Low puppy fee. However, the town is a little sleepy. We were there on a Monday and many restaurants were closed. We ate at Mario's nearby (need to drive a mile) that had outdoor seating and our pup was welcomed. Excellent Italian food.

  They were hosting a college reunion/motorcycle gathering on the grounds and in the parking lot. It was ok until the party ended at 10pm and then the hallways became party central.

  Had a good stay. Staff always helpful. Only disappoint was that too many owners would not dispose of dog poo. The hotel had a baggy station fully stocked and trash can next to the station. Witnessed those too good to cleanup after dog(s) were a mix of all ages and both genders.

  Clean And Safe Place To Stop Off Of I 95

  One night stop traveling on I 95 with our dog. Clean, safe, and a shower with great water pressure and hot water. Beds were super comfortable and a nice cup of coffee available at night and morning. Rooms had refrigerator and microwave. Beth and her staff was warm and friendly . We will stay here again.

  My daughters room where our dog was staying had large blood stains on the mattresses. Horrible it was a night of terror if they tried to get away with this, what else are they doing

  We overnighted here during a trip with our dog to Florida. We were tired after being in traffic for many hours but the check in process was overly long because the one desk clerk kept answering the phone to make new reservations while three groups of us were waiting to be checked in. The couch in our room was visibly dirty and the breakfast was lame. Won’t consider staying here again.

  We had a one night stay here on our way to Charleston. The hotel staff were friendly, they gave us two dog treats at check in. Beds were comfy. Convenient to lots of dining options with patios, including a diner within walking distance. Large grass area next to hotel...not good for off-leash as it is not fenced and their is a swampy pond you would not want your dog to jump in. There was coffee and cookies in the lobby at check in but not in the morning...since dogs aren't allowed in the breakfast area I had been counting on that being there but there are in-room coffee makers. Carpet in hallways needs stretching - a bit of a tripping hazzard. Pool pump was broken but no plan to use it anyway. So overall a good stay.
