Stratford Inn is a landmark in Ashland, Oregon. Now rooms on the lower floor are available for dog owners and mine was comfortable, easy to take my dog out for breaks, and safe at night. Staff was wonderful. Only negative was air circulation in the room was stuffy.

Close to walkable downtown spots, and conveniently next to a grocery store. Doesn't seem the furniture has been updated for a while so it has a 70s vibe: tan, brown, and oak stuff that looked dingy. The light bulbs are bluish fluorescent lights that feel like an old office building. I stayed at another place nearby for about the same price and the other place felt like a much better value.

This hotel was comfortable and welcoming. Has a nice pool, and a breakfast room. Coffee is available in your room but if you want to take it with you, bring your own cup. Also recommended, bring your own soap, shampoo, lotion, and conditioner. I normally do but just brought in a night bag that had none. These items are available but in dispensers that take aerobic activity to get a small drop which is not enough to wash travel dust off. The location saves it from a total bomb with various restaurants within walking distance and Safeway directly across the street. The room was clean, hardwood floors, bed comfortable, heat/air so loud I turned it off, blackout shade, the refrigerator has a freezer bigger than I’ve ever seen.

This is a clean, quiet and comfortable hotel with nice amenities including breakfast, pool and jacuzzi. Staff are friendly and helpful, and we and our pup were comfortable there.
