    Great location

Great hotel. Irresponsible dog owners were letting their dogs poop in the hallway and not picking it up.

    Great experience

Great location, friendly staff, easy check-in, spacious parking, comfortable beds, streaming options on the TV, plenty of grass area for the pups. We had everything we needed and only regret we didn’t have time to enjoy the fire pit!

    Run down

I have stayed at a lot of Aloft hotels over the years and never had an experience quite like this one. To start before we came I called to verify that dogs stay free (like they advertise on here) because our friend had been on the phone with them and was told dogs cost $75 a day and then had been hung up on (but that’s a whole other story). So I called to say we booked for the free of charge and they said again it’s a $75 charge, but we could maybe work with you. So I contacted BringFido and they called and seemed to take care of it. Fast forward to us getting there and I asked the front desk guy to make sure we wouldn’t get charged and he said, we don’t charge for dogs here....WHAT?!? The disorganization of this hotel location is unbelievable. There are so many things just run down and broken throughout the place. And I called and asked 3 times before I got a hair dryer...yes there was not one in there (and only decaf which isn’t a big deal and they rectified that quick, but it was an annoyance). The manager I believe was kind and felt bad I had asked so many times for a hair dryer but the damage was done. I would suggest...unless you have to don’t stay here.

The good Great service we were there for an appt at MD Anderson and needed early check in 1 hour and late checkout 1 hour which was accommodated, delightfully clean bedding. The bad someone else’s leftovers in fridge and carpeted floor could have used scrubbing. Or perhaps it was stained. Overall we were quite comfortable.

    Great Stay

Husband, 2 dogs, and I stayed here for several nights to evacuate a hurricane. Hotel and staff were amazing to our pups. Location was great, close to several restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

    Aloft Houston Galleria!

Fantastic stay and Cleo says this is definitely 5 bones and 4 paws up! Everyone is so friendly here and lots of green space for doggy business and a nice block to walk around for exercise. Beds were cozy and treats at the front desk when we checked in. We will definitely return according to Cleo.
