    Valley View Motel

    Valley View Motel allows pets of any size for an additional fee of $20 per pet, per stay. Only three rooms allow pets. Guests with pets must call (877) 411-3436 prior to booking to verify availability of a pet-friendly room or risk not being able to check in with a pet and/or incurring any associated cancellation penalties. Both dogs and cats are permitted. There are four acres of farmland around the property, including a large scenic exercise area overlooking Discovery Bay and many trails and local roads where you can walk with your pets. Please note that there are pets on site and on neighboring properties, including cats, dogs, chickens, goats and horses.

    Centrally located between Port Townsend and Sequim, Valley View Motel offers private cottages with kitchenettes, overlooking scenic Discovery Bay. Our rooms are clean, our rates are great and your pets are welcome! Our convenient location offers you a variety of areas to explore from shopping and dining in historic Port Townsend to hiking in the ancient Hoh Rainforest. A general store, 3 restaurants and 2 espresso stands are right across the way for your spur of the moment needs. Spend a night or a week, but you'll always find plenty to do on the Quimper and Olympic Peninsulas and we are in the middle of it all.

      Funky and peaceful

      This place is five small cottages in a row, on a dirt road looking down at Discovery Bay across a scrubby hillside. This is NOT a five-star hotel kind of situation. Our cottage was basic and showed a lot of wear. It was also very comfortable, quiet, and peaceful. There was a friendly, beautiful, and obviously much-loved goat outside. Ditto cat. I could hear chickens somewhere but didn't see them. The windows do not have screens. However, mosquitos did not make an appearance. I kept our dog inside most of the time so she wouldn't harass the goat.
