    Great location

Our lab puppy loved the private beach to play on. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. They even gave our pup treats on check in. The only little downfall is the lack of grass in the area for potty time. There is one little section, but we made it work.

Great place we already want to go back

We were a bit nervous as we've never taken the dogs away with us. Great location, private beach. They allow dogs on the beach all day and off leash during off hours. Upon check in they gave us a bag of treats for the dogs. They provide a breakfast each morning. The room was clean but older, it needed to be repainted. We booked a ocean view and it was beautiful. Even have a porch area with chairs to enjoy it.

Great dog friendly hotel. Beach is fun for off leash romping in the sand. Very friendly, highly recommended!

    Amazing getaway

Rick and I have wanted to go to Provincetown for years and finally made it happen with our boy, Kona, who is a 100 lb chocolate lab. Luckily we booked in time as the hotel is soon to close for the season. While it was quiet at the hotel and in the town we loved our experience. Everyone at the hotel, especially David, was so kind and welcoming. The hotel was in great shape and the breakfast and afternoon snacks were a great touch. We would return there happily. Also, it's a nice walk to town from the hotel.

Great Spot for you and your Dog!

My husband and I have two German Shepherds, and have traveled with them from Bar Harbor, Maine to Anna Maria Island, FL with many spots in between. Surfside Hotel & Suites in Provincetown, MA sets the bar quite high as far as dog friendly lodging goes! We often have trouble because of their size, but not at Surfside! They are very welcoming and offer a great experience for you and your dogs. The dogs are allowed everywhere on the property except the pool area. They are allowed in the lobby (and are greeted with treat!), inside the bar, around the fire pit area, and most importantly, on the private beach where they are allowed to run off-leash during certain times of the day. In addition to it being a great place to stay with your dog, Provincetown in general is welcoming to dogs and there are many restaurants with outside seating you can bring them to. Surfside allows you to leave the dogs in the room if you’d like to go out to dinner, as long as you provide your phone number in case they need to call you. Dogs are allowed at Race Point and Herring Cove Beaches, as well.

    Great Quick Stay!

We stayed at the Surfside for a quick night away with our 7 month old golden retriever. We all loved it- it is right on a private, dog-friendly beach (there were even hours posted that your dog could be off leash- which is never really allowed on most Cape beaches!). They had complimentary treats for Gio and we were able to bring him by the fire pit while we relaxed with a couple drinks. There was even a dog wash station to rinse him off after swimming and rolling around in the sand. The room was clean and comfortable- we had the ocean view and loved falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing below. The staff was super friendly and attentive as well!

    Terrific

We stayed October 5 & 6 in an oceanfront room with our Cavalier King Charles, Libby. The room was terrific, as was the view. The hotel buildings are on opposite sides of the street. The street handles a lot more pedestrian traffic than cars as folks walk to town (It took us 40 minutes strolling to town and stopping occasionally.)
Quite pet friendly. Provincetown is the most pet friendly town we have ever been to.
Breakfast is ok. Scrambled eggs, waffles, cereal, etc. The bonfire at night is a nice gathering place.
    We will definitely be returning.

    Buster's Favorite!

Buster loves going for long walks on the beach, especially when the tide is out; sometimes running, sometimes rolling in something delightfully stinky. No worries! Surfside has a nice little hose/doggie wash set up as you come off the beach. We always get a waterside room, with a balcony and a great view of the water. He loves to lie on the balcony in the cool breeze when not on the beach. There's a fridge and a microwave for the Mommas to use, which makes them happy, but not as much as the continental breakfast or sitting around the gas fireplace at night with one of the Surfside's toddies. And Buster gets to hang out, too! The staff loves Buster and gives him cookies. Overall, our fav place to stay in Ptown as a pack.

Well Behaved Owners and their dogs

The only way it could be any more dog friendly, if the dog could go in the pool. Great Staff and clean rooms , we will be back again.

    Amazing

This was our first vacation with our pup. The hotel is simply amazing. Our Milo got a treat and a toy when we checked in. We stayed in an ocean front room, directly on the ground floor. We loved just being able to open the door and walking directly onto the beach. Milo certainly enjoyed the swimming. The room was clean. Breakfast was tasty. Friendly staff. Provincetown is super dog friendly. We never left Milo alone, we brought him out breakfast, lunch and dinner. Highly recommended.

    Dog's Resort

Rating this for our dog I give it 5 bones! This place is like a resort for dog's. The private off-leash beach is fantastic and the dogs can hang out at the fire pit too. The best part is being able to leave your dog in the room if you venture out on your own. the staff is very friendly and attentive. The only thing we were not crazy about was the uncomfortable bed and hearing people walk on the floor above you. I cannot imagine a better hotel (waterfront room included) for dogs !!

    Perfect

The hotel was very clean, wonderful place to stay with our 2 Newfoundlands! Gave treats at check in. Dogs got to swim and walk on the beach. Extra fee was cheaper than boarding and allowed us to enjoy the Cape with our furry kids! Lots of dog friendly restaurants etc close by. Will be back for sure!!!! Highly recommend.
