Staff was very accommodating for our 12 lb Pomeranian. Excellent large areas to walk your pets. Evan, the breakfast chef, puts out a delicious and appetizing buffet to satisfy most hungry travelers. There was a lovely swimming pool, a coin laundry room, and a decent fitness room when the weather gets warmer. I would recommend the Holiday Inn Express in Fort Pierce. Squeaky clean, too!

We stayed here early in the COVID-19 pandemic response. Front desk was exceptional. Room was great. Breakfast was not really social distancing prepared. I trust that has all been resolved.

Always thought that "Express" meant that it was pretty low-budget, but was surprised to find it was like staying at a Marriott without the $100 pet fee (whether you stay 1 night or 30 nights). The pet fee at HI was $25 per night with a maximum of $75 per stay. For a short-term stay, we had a large "suite" and were very comfortable. Will stay again!
