        What a gem

Ended up here accidentally and so glad I did. What a beautiful place inside and out with amazing staff.

        great stay

We stayed here for two nights with our two dogs. Rooms are spacious and ours even had a balcony that looked over the dunes. We stayed on the 2nd floor and there are stairs at the end of the hallway to access doors to take the pups out. They are allowed on the beach leashed and they loved it. We also took them to several restaurants on the island and in the area. Many pet friendly places. We plan on going back for another stay next year.

        MOST EXCELLENT place ever!!

My retired racing greyhound & I had a excellent time & stay. Very kind people & staff. She not being confident w/ different floors & situations. I carried her & guided her. Will take time for her to acclimate to a dog life..... The staff being very kind knowing she had just recently retired ,from her track life. We could not have had a better or most welcoming time. We will continue to stay every year. We attend the Sandy Paws gathering & events. Very clean, wonderful, safe, & peaceful place :-) ???????? Thank you, kindly.

        really great stay

We really liked this hotel. The room including the bathroom was very large and clean. It was also very quiet. To get to the ocean you climbed stairs and walked on wood walkway thru the trees. Pretty. Everyone we encountered were very nice. Loved Jekyll island. Would recommend

        Dogs, views

There are outside access doors at the end of each hallway. You do need your key to get inside. The rooms are very nice and almost soundproof.. I could not hear a thing from any other room. The bed was comfy..Really liked it. You can't see the ocean even though it is on the beach because of the dunes. To access the beach you do have to climb steps so for those afraid of heights or the elderly I would suggest leaving the hotel and going to the public beach down the road.

Pets Accepted doesn't mean Pet Friendly

While the staff, room and amenities were superb, we checked back out within 30 minutes. Pets are accepted, but only on the 3rd floor of the hotel. Because there are no outside access doors, everytime you want to take your pet out, you have to go down through the center of the lobby. Difficult with a 16 year old dog. Also, since pets are not allowed to be in the rooms by themselves, going out to eat is impossible.

        Great Stay

We have stayed here on a couple of occasions. We have not taken our dog with us so far, but they do allow pets and it is a great stay. There was a family reunion at the location and there was plenty of space of facilities and parking. Great stay!
