Room was clean and well maintained. Staff was great. Breakfast was great and they had a complimentary dinner. Would definitely stay again. One, if not the best, hotels I stayed out during my trip. Certainly the best value one for the price.

We needed a dog friendly overnight stay and booked here because it seemed to meet all our requirements. By the time we checked in at 7 pm they were out of first floor rooms. It seems construction workers and out-of-towners for a local event had beat us to all the downstairs rooms and the staff could not accommodate our request for a first floor room. This was a disappointment because the hotel did not have an elevator and we have a 90 lb German Shepherd with back leg issues who had great difficulty trying to get up & down the old narrow steps (10 steps, then a landing followed by another 10 steps).
We wound up having to carry her. She refused to walk up past the first flight because she had a very rough time navigating the awkward stairs and became anxious & unsure of her footing. Carrying her proved to be a chore but we made due. The room was clean but very dated. There was an old wing back chair in the room with a reading lamp behind it. Both had seen better days and had worn-in stains on the headrest of the chair & the lampshade. It was a little off-putting but everything appeared to look and smell clean especially the bed linens. The room has half vinyl floor, half carpeted floor. It also has in room microwave & refrigerator. Overall it was a good, comfortable, quiet stay. Staff was friendly and check-in was easy.

Had a spacious room at the end of the hall, convenient to the outside for our dog. Clean, but the furniture is a bit worn. Bedding looked brand new though and bright white 👍🏻 Outside premises very well kept too. Would stay there again.

We only stayed for a night, but really appreciated the dog-friendly atmosphere, breakfast, clean sheets, and comfy beds.

I'm melting, I'm melting. I skipped the Wizard of Oz museum, but walked my huskies in the town park with 3 ft tall Toto statues everywhere. Train for the kids to ride, and a scenic bridge and fountain.

This is a clean, comfortable hotel with friendly , accommodating staff. Felt very safe. Plenty of room to walk dogs. The only reason for 4 bones is no elevator, which both adults recovering from injuries did take some effort. (We did not think to ask for first floor when making reservation). If this was a chain we would not hesitate to stay or return to this hotel. BTW--there is an off-leash fenced dog park in Manhattan which is is a very short drive from the hotel.
