This hotel worked perfectly for our trip; easy on and off the interstate. The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. The kitchen guy hustled through breakfast to keep the food hot and plentiful (lots of people at breakfast). The room was clean and even our dog enjoyed it!

This was a nice spot. The beds were comfy. The room was a little on the small side but not bad. The BBQ place next door was delicious!

A pet friendly gem in historic downtown Troy. Hotel is adjacent to the Hudson River with plenty of green space for our dog. Hotel was very clean and room was large..we hated to leave!

We had to change a reservation at the last minute and were grateful to find this hotel accepted dogs, as we were traveling with our 2 small kids and our 90 lb mutt. Although a non-smoking room was reserved, it was clear the room we were given was used by smokers quite recently. We were exhausted and just accepted it. The room was clean and comfortable other than the smoke smell and we slept fairly well. The hallway noise was not muffled, and we could clearly hear the amorous pursuits of the couple next door as well. The breakfast bar had ants climbing on the syrup dispensers. It was just okay, not worth the $169 for the night we paid though. Good if you're in a pinch like we were, but otherwise wouldn't stay again.

Fine place for people. Exit to take dog out was down 2 flights and entrance back was far around the building, which was an unpleasant surprise in middle of night. Dog area provided was clean and had bags and a disposal can. Busy part of town, not much green space otherwise.

Why? 1--Centrally located in Downtown Troy, NY. 2-- fully supplied rooms, with refrigerators, desks, large bathrooms, desk, chair, king size bed, closet. 3-- very helpful front desk and extremely quick followup when you request anything--extra blanket, another Kleenex box, more hangers. Perfect pet room. Couldn't ask for more.
