Hotel staff were stellar!!! However, the pet area was covered in grass burrs. They should upgrade their landscaping to get rid of those nasty plants. I know it's West Texas and lots of caliche soil which is difficult to maintain. But, at least the designated pet area should be pretty free of "noxious" weeds and grasses. The other issue was the constant, loud noise of I-20 traffic. Scurry county has "enhanced" I-20's road surface to reduce slipperiness hence making the surface very loud and noisy. I-20 is a major interstate and with lots of traffic. The hotel windows do not reduce that noise level very much. Sleep was difficult due to the noise. Other than that, the room was very nice, clean and comfortable.

A very small amount of grass on the SE corner of the hotel. A few spots of gravel. No other places to walk dogs. Hotel has been updated in the past few years. Reasonable price and reasonable pet fee.

We booked the cheapest room just to take a break from driving, and for less than $150 INCLUDING pet fee we got a king suite!! Dog was doing zoomies around the room, it was great. We slept through breakfast because the bed was so comfortable, but they had decent coffee out at all hours. Everyone at the desk was super friendly and sweet. I would definitely stay here again!

This La Quinta is in decent condition with friendly helpful staff. The rooms were clean and the breakfast area well taken care of. There is a Tractor Supply next door and it was a great place to extend our dog walk time.

Ladies working the front desk were so kind and funny! Definitely made our stay more enjoyable. Nice pet relief areas — just bring bug spray to keep the mosquitos at bay!

This La Quinta is bright, clean, and comfortable. The staff were very accommodating. The location, conveniently located near the Interstate, is terrific. And their dog friendly policy is a huge plus for me.
