    Split Mountain Motel

    Split Mountain Motel welcomes two pets of any size in designated rooms for an additional fee of $10 per pet, per night. However, pets are permitted in three designated rooms only. Guests with pets must call (877) 411-3436 prior to booking to verify availability of a pet-friendly room or risk not being able to check in with a pet and/or incurring any associated cancellation penalties. Both dogs and cats are allowed, and pets may be left in the room unattended. There is a grassy area with a waste station on the property.

      Expensive And Unkept

      Room was well below what I have stayed in. Bed had old ratty blanket in it and the sheets made my skin itch and I had an arm rash when waking up the next morning. Shower temperature was hard to keep at a reasonable temp. All the furniture was old and worn out. It was ok for our dogs because of the carpeted floor, but not worth $179 for the night!
