Bed and Bagel added dimensions to our visit

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Bed and Bagels is informal but meticulously run. Sharon, our hostess, is a dynamo who knows the area well, likes people and animals and is connected to a wide group of friends and activities. She introduced us to new aspects of living in Tucson and, in short, enhanced our visit.

Pet or not you are always welcome here

When we arrived Sharon was ready to welcome all of us. We arrived with 3 dogs and 2 cats, they automatically loved the place and became friendly with Livy Sharon's dog. My dogs have never been so happy staying in a place as this one, and they feel very comfortable. Sharon has this love for pets, and Livy hangs around with them, like they have always known each other. As for Sharon she is the nicest person ever. She is very sweet and has such details like bringing fruit already cut up for us to eat, she makes you feel at home. She has brochures of what places you can go visit, and she gives you information of where everything is located. I would love to come back here, and would highly recommend this place to anyone, whether they have a pet or not, to stay here. You see mountains all around you, all types of birds, the pool, cactus, etc. While I have stayed here you get up early in the morning and you can see the hummingbirds, quails, you can enjoy nature, and breath the fresh air outside. Thank you Sharon for making our stay so great, and I would love to come back.

    THE BEST

We had been on 7000+ mile site seeing road trip. Bed and Bagels was by far the best place we stayed in. Sharon and Levi were excellent hosts. Even suprised us with treats for Chloe, mom, and dad waiting in the room. Sharon's excellent knowledge of Tucson made our stay much more enjoyable. Breakfast was not only healthy it was very good. Levi and Chloe got along like they had been together forever. We got the best rest of our trip at Bed and Bagels. If you are planning a trip to Tucson. Bed and Bagels is the place to stay. Even without a pet. When we return to Tucson we will stay with Sharon and Levi!

    Bed and Bagels experience

Our little dog Chloe and we found this accommodation most inviting, one that definitely met our needs. Sharon made sure we had space and safety for our dog who was integrated into her
setting with her dog: both into outdoors/pool areas and indoors. She took time with us, at breakfast and otherwise, made suggestions and helped with plans for hikes and taking in local places for us to do both with and without our dog. Flexible and engaging, she even offered bikes and took us around back roads, also shared with us a lively interest in travel and art (collected there in her house).

    Great Weekend

We had had a wonderful weekend staying at Bed and Bagels. Sharon was spot on with her recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Pete was helpful as well. Breakfasts were outstanding. We had dishes we'd never think to make on our own. Levi took to me right away and became my new buddy. In general, Tucson is a pet friendly town. We didn't visit them all, but there are several restaurants that allow pets in the outdoor seating area. The nearby dog park is great as well.

    Fantastic

This is a fantastic location with so many restaurants and outdoor activities close by. I loved Sharon’s company and cooking! Will bring friends back for sure. She treated our animals like her own!

    Welcoming , accomodating and wonderful

What a wonderful find! We are birders and so is Sharon. She helped us find a birding area where we were able to add Life Birds to our list. She communicated with us all along the way before we even left for our trip and before we got to her home making sure we would be well taken care of. She offered the use of the hot tub, helped us find a restaurant for supper, called ahead to be sure they'd treat us well, and had dessert waiting for us when we got back. Her personality is wonderful and she has had such an interesting life that it was a joy to sit and chat with her. I was getting homesick for my dogs back home but her little dog, Levi, was such as sweet loving dog, he helped with that. Sharon is very attentive to detail. She keeps her animals sequestered in case people would have allergies or just don't want animals around. Her home and surroundings are beautiful and the traffic isn't heavy so it's easy to get around. I would definitely recommend staying with her, especially if you are into birding but even if you aren't. She treated us like family. The Bagels part of her name doesn't really cover what breakfast is like. We were asked the night before what we wanted in the way of the main dish and had our choice of beverage, bagels, toast and our choice of jellies or things to put on them. She prepared fresh fruit plates for us. When we stayed at other Bed and Breakfast places, we very seldom saw our hosts. They were clearly a business. Sharon is a caring individual and made us feel like she was looking forward to our visit, like we were old friends, not strangers. Her price is very reasonable. Don't miss it if you have a chance to stay here.

A great place for those with pets

My wife and I had decided to check out Tombstone, AZ for our wedding anniversary so, to keep in line with the tradition we started 5 years prior of staying at a bed and breakfast every year on the night of our anniversary, we set out to find a B&B that would accommodate 2 rather large dogs (and, as it turned out, 1 rather small dog as well). After a couple of days of searching we found Sharon and Bed and Bagels of Tucson. After a brief e-mail conversation with Sharon, my wife and I decided to stay Bed and Bagels - and it was a GREAT decision. Sharon and her 3 pets (2 elderly dogs and 1 spry little cat) were great hosts. Sharon is very knowledgeable about the area and its attractions as well as a lot of the local restaurants. She also allowed us to keep our 2 larger dogs (115lb Rottweiler mix and 85lb Labrador Retriever mix) in her gated patio while we went to dinner on our anniversary as well as in the mornings when we were having breakfast so that they could play, she offered them treats (after seeking our permission, of course), and even gave us a large sheet so that our dogs could stay up on the bed when we were in the room. Sharon put together a simple but flavorful breakfast for us each morning while having lots of little goodies to snack on throughout the day (her cranberry pie was divine as were her chocolate chip cookies). Overall, I'd recommend Bed and Bagels to ANYONE who wants to travel to Tucson or the surrounding areas with their family pets.
