There are two fenced areas for dogs; one near the pool, and one in the patio area (which is separated from the unheated pool by a six foot fence). Cats should be confined to their guest room. At the end of the street, there is a walking path that leads to a dry riverbed and more paths on the other side of it. There is also a fenced dog park five minutes away by car. Horses, coyotes, rabbits, javelinas, occasional rattlesnakes, and other dogs may be encountered here, so dogs should be leashed at all times when outside.
