    Bed and Bagels of Tucson

    Bed and Bagels of Tucson allows one or two pets of any size for an additional fee of $10 per night, and three or more pets for $20 per night. Both dogs and cats are welcome. There are two fenced areas for dogs; one near the pool, and one in the patio area (which is separated from the unheated pool by a six foot fence). Cats should be confined to their guest room. At the end of the street, there is a walking path that leads to a dry riverbed and more paths on the other side of it. There is also a fenced dog park five minutes away by car. Horses, coyotes, rabbits, javelinas, occasional rattlesnakes, and other dogs may be encountered here, so dogs should be leashed at all times when outside. You may also leave Fido safely behind at Bed and Bagels while you are sightseeing.

    Bed & Bagels of Tucson is a pet- and children-friendly bed and breakfast with a casual yet elegant atmosphere, offering views of the beautiful desert and towering mountains, an unheated swimming pool and hot tub, and considerate accommodations for kids and animals, including a fenced yard for dogs. Breakfast varies every day, from the exotic to the classic. The three guest accommodations are decorated with petroglyph designs, Native American motifs, hand-carved Mexican furniture, and antiques. Directions from Speedway and Campbell: 10 miles east to Houghton Rd., left on Houghton to 4th Street on right past Tanque Verde light (Glenn St.) Right on Glenn to 4th house on the right -- 10402.

      Very Pleasant Stay

      We chose Beds & Bagels of Tucson because pets are allowed, and then ended up not bringing our small dog. Was glad we'd picked it. Sharon's breakfasts were delicious and filling and we enjoyed talking with her. We loved our King bed and we enjoyed the hot tub. Didn't end up using the pool. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

      Home away from home

      Sharon was a wonderful host and so kind to our dogs. We really felt at home as did our pups. Wonderful diverse food served to accommodate your schedule. And an exceptional hot tub. Couldn’t have been happier with the location. Sharon has exceptional knowledge and experience to help plan your trip. Wonderful experience and we will be back!

      Wonderful host, beautiful location

      Sharon was a wonderful host, very helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. The house and grounds were absolutely delightful. The location is beautiful and convenient. The room was exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast was delicious beyond description.

      Relaxing getaway

      It was great being able to leave the dogs in Sharon's care while we explored Tucson. We stayed in the King Suite and it was a plus to have a door to backyard. Beautiful view of the mountains while having breakfast.

      Rescued, Revived, Rested

      Bed and Bagels welcomed my cousin and I, two 80 pound golden-doodles and our Maltese “Squeaky”.
      Sharon truly makes her home your home and treats you and your pets as family. From snacking on the sprawling fenced patio, to lounging by the pool while your dogs explore the large yard, or the whole gang hanging out in the family room, we felt at home, very comfortable, and pampered. Sharon’s gourmet breakfast are inspiring, memorable, and may be the best you’ve ever tasted. Sharon made us feel comfortable leaving our dogs with her, enabling us to explore and experience Tucson’s beauty and adventures without worry. I had wood floors refinished forcing us to vacate for 4 days. At Bed and Bagels, both people and pets were truly rescued, loved, pampered, and revived. Truly a home away that offers the peace and pampering every soul seeks. The desert and Mountain View’s are incredible and memorable. When it is time to go, you will wish you could stay longer.

      Everything we could have wanted and more!

      My two pups and I had a great time at Bed and Bagels of Tucson! We enjoyed meeting the other dogs on-site and were pampered the whole weekend. From our private room and bath to being poolside, we felt welcomed and taken care of. Thank you for knowing exactly what we needed and providing it for us and thank you for the delicious home-cooked meals!

      Bed and Bagel added dimensions to our visit

      We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Bed and Bagels is informal but meticulously run. Sharon, our hostess, is a dynamo who knows the area well, likes people and animals and is connected to a wide group of friends and activities. She introduced us to new aspects of living in Tucson and, in short, enhanced our visit.

      Pet or not you are always welcome here

      When we arrived Sharon was ready to welcome all of us. We arrived with 3 dogs and 2 cats, they automatically loved the place and became friendly with Livy Sharon's dog. My dogs have never been so happy staying in a place as this one, and they feel very comfortable. Sharon has this love for pets, and Livy hangs around with them, like they have always known each other. As for Sharon she is the nicest person ever. She is very sweet and has such details like bringing fruit already cut up for us to eat, she makes you feel at home. She has brochures of what places you can go visit, and she gives you information of where everything is located. I would love to come back here, and would highly recommend this place to anyone, whether they have a pet or not, to stay here. You see mountains all around you, all types of birds, the pool, cactus, etc. While I have stayed here you get up early in the morning and you can see the hummingbirds,quails, you can enjoy nature, and breath the fresh air outside. Thank you Sharon for making our stay so great, and I would love to come back.

      THE BEST

      We had been on 7000+ mile site seeing road trip. Bed and Bagels was by far the best place we stayed in. Sharon and Levi were excellent hosts. Even suprised us with treats for Chloe, mom, and dad waiting in the room. Sharon's excellent knowledge of Tucson made our stay much more enjoyable. Breakfast was not only healthy it was very good. Levi and Chloe got along like they had been together forever. We got the best rest of our trip at Bed and Bagels. If you are planning a trip to Tucson. Bed and Bagels is the place to stay. Even without a pet. When we return to Tucson we will stay with Sharon and Levi!
