Very enjoyable stay!
My husband and I were looking for a dog friendly place to stay in Natchez and Devereaux Shields House came up on Bring Fido. It was a lovely, historic B & B. It was clean and the furniture very pretty, the owners and staff were very welcoming and accommodating. They do have pretty strict rules for pets but it’s such a beautiful, fun place to stay, it was worth it. The rules were common sense anyway, and were there to keep the property nice and the atmosphere pleasant for everyone. Breakfast was great- one day we had quiche, ham, toast and fruit and the next day we had French toast casserole, scrambled eggs, sausage and fruit. There was also a wine and cheese reception with the owners and other guests the night we arrived. The owners and staff also provided information on pet friendly restaurants in Natchez, which helped a lot. We would definitely stay here again!
