    Whitney's Inn at Jackson welcomes two dogs of any size for an additional fee of $25 per pet, per night. Only Cottages #1 and #2 and Classic Queen Rooms #19 and #20 allow dogs. Guests with dogs must call (877) 411-3436 prior to booking to verify availability of a pet-friendly room or risk not being able to check in with a dog and/or incurring any associated cancellation penalties. Well-behaved dogs may be left unattended in rooms for short periods of time, and there are grassy areas for pet relief on the property. Cats are not allowed.

Many of the cottages are within steps of the lift chairs at Black Mountain Ski Resort, and include amenities like cable TV, private bathrooms and full kitchens.       Cozy escape

      We had a great experience in one of the cottages with our two golden retrievers. The staff were kind and helpful at check-in. We're looking forward to returning on a Friday or Saturday so that we can visit the on-site Shovel Handle Pub!

      Lovely location at Black Mountain

      My sister and I were in the area for my niece’s wedding at Jackson Falls. The accommodations were rustic, but comfortable. (Some updates could be done like replacing broken blinds on patio door, which is why only 4 bones.) There were lots of areas surrounding the property to take my Chihuahua out for walks to “do his business.” We were out most of the day and evening each day but it was very nice to drive up to when we returned for the evening to sleep. He travels with his own bed so is always comfortable. 😋 My sister purchased the $10 breakfast there, which she really spoke highly about. She enjoyed the window view of the property.

      Was available during the peak of the season

      Very small, old and shabby cottage but in a nice and quiet place. It is claimed to host 5 people and they indeed have that many sleeping places but the table is the most for 3 with 2 chairs. So 5 people will fit into the main room only in a shift-based schedule. About dogs: our small dog was scared of animal smells but it is probably can be exciting for a hunting dog.
