Whitney's Inn at JacksonVery small, old and shabby cottage but in a nice and quiet place. It is claimed to host 5 people and they indeed have that many sleeping places but the table is the most for 3 with 2 chairs. So 5 people will fit into the main room only in a shift-based schedule. About dogs: our small dog was scared of animal smells but it is probably can be exciting for a hunting dog.

Very nice place
Holiday Inn Resort Bar Harbor - Acadia Natl Park an IHG HotelVery good but VERY, VERY expensive at the rush of the season. Has a warm swimming pool (not for dogs) which is great when the weather is not cooperating. Bar Harbor has a great Stewman's lobster place that welcomes dogs. It was very nice to see puppies/dogs under/near each table.
