I was hoping that I could share some photos of this hotel, but see no place that I can do this. The photos would speak for themselves Suffice it by saying that we were ready to leave the minute we saw the room, but it was very late and we were very tired from a long drive, so decided to stay.
The carpet in the room was filthy. Small trash on the corners. The toilet had not been cleaned and it had heavy marks from, I hope, mineral deposits. The bathtub was so dirty that we were unable to take a bath. The shower curtain had dirty spots all over. The window curtains had pink bubble gum on them. The room door paint was peeling and one could readily see that the navy door was white at one time. There were full trash bags in front of several of the rooms, and also as you looked down the corridor. In the morning, the trash bags had been raided, I guess by birds and other animals and there was trash coming out of the trash bags all over the place.
The AC unit filter had pieces of stuff in it and grill was broken. I sprayed Lysol all over trying to disinfect it! I insisted on sleeping with all of the lights on because I was afraid of bugs. Hoping that they would not come out if the lights were on!! The bed linens were clean and this was a saving grace!!! Yet, we slept in our clothes and only for about 4 hours! This hotel needs to be thoroughly cleaned up and remodeled, or shut down for good.
The cleaners are definitely taking the hotel owners for a ride. Yet, one would think that the owners or a manager would inspect the rooms every so often?!! After our stay, I read the reviews for this hotel and the great majority of them match my review exactly. Shame on me for not doing my homework and reading the reviews before we checked in!! We would have never stayed there...NEVER! The employees were nice and the breakfast consisted of a sausage and egg croissant and chocolate muffins and coffee. The juice machine was out or order. We were very happy to leave the hotel and will never be back.
