Dieseling semis on two sides, open tuna cans feeding feral cats on the other side. No grass to speak of. Room itself was fine but nothing fancy. Staff friendly. Good value for the price but definitely not a great place for dogs to potty. Admittedly, choices are limited in Ellis KS. Next time we would stay in Hays where there might be more options.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. It was clean, quiet, pet friendly and accessible to 70. Breakfast was good, coffee was hot! Staff was outstanding. Kudos to Rick, Betsy, Rhonda and the manager Mr. Singh! On the home stretch of a 2 month road trip. Best pet friendly place we stayed. Excellent value.

Hotel is charging 10.00 pet fee plus tax=$11.40. I was traveling with my SIberian. We were on the 2nd floor. First room had alive and dead crickets on the carpet. I immediately returned to the front desk and the woman charged my room. The next room was clean. The town of Eliis has very interesting history that I would never have known about if I didn't stop. There is a Mexican restaurant across the street that has an outside area that you can bring your dog.

They let dogs stay but only stay if you are desperate. They dint ear masks, and they didn't require anyone to wear masks even the front desk guy after I asked him. He clearly was unaware of how COVID spreads. There was poop all along side of the hotel, no one picked it up. The lighting was just dim and the walls are increbily thin... You wont get a good nights rest here. The best part of this was leaving.

My family is moving across the country with several pets and we pre-booked two rooms at Days Inn. For $79 and only a $10 pet fee, it was perfectly adequate. The rooms DID have pet stained carpet but it smelled fine and was otherwise clean. The dog rooms we received were on the ground floor by the exit which was really nice for us since we had to haul in two large dogs and two cats. We came in late into the night (make sure you warn the hotel if you’ll be late!) but it was very quiet even into mid morning. There isn’t a ton of green space for dogs but it’s enough for them to do their business. Another possible downer for pet parents is theres a busy semi parking lot next to the hotel so if your dog is nervous about louder idling vehicles (which we did not hear in our room) you might not want to use that particular side entrance. Also make sure you get food/snacks elsewhere or else you’ll be left to truck stop food. If you’re just looking for a quiet, clean, pet friendly place to crash for the night, I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel has a nice location right off the highway. We were traveling and stayed a night. The pet room floor is on the second floor. A nice and quiet stay. The only complaint I would have is there isn’t much space to walk our dog. But if your dog doesn’t need a lot of space to walk this is a great hotel. The gentleman at the front desk was really nice and helpful both checking in and checking out. I will definitely stay here again!!
