Central Group Camp at Chickasaw NRA
Central Group Camp at Chickasaw NRA allows pets, but they must always be on a leash and cannot be left alone. Areas that are closed to dogs are posted. Those areas include trails east of the Travertine Nature Center, within the Travertine Nature Center, and all locations where people gather to swim or sunbathe. Description
Chickasaw National Recreation Area is in southcentral Oklahoma, between Dallas and Oklahoma City. It draws visitors who enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, and hiking with its cool water, mineral springs, cool breezes, shade, and wildlife. Chickasaw National Recreation Area has six campgrounds with 410 camping sites. The Central group campground is close Travertine Creek, hiking trails, and natural springs. Restrooms and flush toilets are available, and reservations must be made at least 7 days in advance.
