Description
Onawa / Blue Lake KOA is located in the heart of the Loess Hills, on the Lewis and Clark Trail. The campground is close to Blue Lake and Blackbird Bend Speedway. The campground has 50 amp service available, and can accommodate rigs up to 93 feet. Other amenities include Wi-Fi, swimming pool, paddlebats, fishing, bike rentals, propane and firewood (for a fee).

No grass, lots of weeds, dirt/mud. We were informed that dog pens are NOT allowed and it was in the rules according to the Groundskeeper. We had read all the rules and nowhere did it state we could not have a pen. The Groundskeeper wanted us to know that he mows the "grass" on Wednesdays. We did take down the pen as a courtesy but we will never stay here again. I suggest to other travelers look for other accommodations when traveling with your pet.
