Experience the wonder of one of nature's most peaceful creatures at Manatee State Park Campground. This natural spring attracts West Indian manatees every spring, and is also a popular spot for snorkeling, scuba diving, and swimming. Canoe and kayak rentals are available in the park for exploring the beautiful waters, and there is also a playground and picnic area. The campground is set amidst red oaks and includes 80 earth-floored sites with hot shower restrooms. All sites have electricity and water, but no sewer hook-ups. However, there is a dump station on site.
