Dogs are allowed at Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area Campground, but they must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet when outside your vehicle. Dogs may not be left unattended at the campsite, and are not allowed in the beach area. There is a nature park available to take them for walks. There are no pet fees. Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area Campground is located in Flagler Beach off Highway A1A, between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. The park features picnic pavilions, nature trail and boat ramp on its 145 acres. The area offers opportunities for surf fishing, beach walking, and sunbathing. The park also features a full-facility campground located on the dune above the shore of the Atlantic Ocean.
