North Marcum Day Use Area
Dogs are allowed at North Marcum Day Use Area, but they must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet when outside your vehicle, and properly cleaned up after. Description
You and your four legged friend will find plenty of fun at North Marcum Day Use Area on Rend Lake. The lake has 19,000 surface acres of water and 20,000 acres of public lands for boating, hiking, swimming, fishing and wildlife-watching. Try biking on the Rend Lake Bike Trail, or hold that family gathering in one of the park's two group shelters, which are wired for electricity. There's also a public swimming beach, boat ramp, playgrounds and more, with an even bigger list of activities available in the surrounding area, from horseback riding to sporting clay shooting.
