Description
CheKaKa Campground is located on Lake Mendocino, near Coyote Valley Dam. It is a small campground that has 20 sites within walking distance of the dam, lake, overlook day-use area, and boat ramp. A 3-mile hiking trail begins at the Overlook and loops around to the swim beach at the north end of the lake. There is running water available, but no showers or flush toilets.
