Description
It's a novel idea: exploring the metropolitan wonders of New York City and New Jersey from the natural beauty of a well-equipped campground. This state park, just three hours from the city, includes a 55-acre Arctic Lake as well as a sand swimming beach. Even in winter, visitors can enjoy ice fishing and skating. The park offers both tent camp sites and fully-equipped vacation cottages, as well as a boat launch, boat rentals, dumping stations, showers, food concessions, nature trails, a playground and more.
