Dogs are allowed at Salton Sea SRA Campground, but they must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet when outside your vehicle. For more information on pet restrictions, please call (760) 393-3052.
This campground is a great base for exploring the unique Salton Sea, which was once the northern end of the Gulf of Mexico. The lake sits at 128 feet below sea level and is 25% saltier than the ocean, and offers excellent kayaking and bird watching.
