Dogs are allowed at Shepard State Park Campground and trails, but they must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet when outside your vehicle. Dogs may not be left unattended at the campsites. There are no pet fees. For more information on pet restrictions, please call (228) 497-2244.
This campground includes both RV and tent camping sites and an 18-hole disc gold course. There is also a bathhouse. The area is populated with trees and wildflowers with numerous hiking and biking nature trails.
