Description
Chowchilla Recreation Area Day Use is located at Eastman Lake in the Sierra Nevada foothills about an hour drive north of Fresno, CA. The lake is a designated trophy bass fishery, but crappie, trout and catfish are also abundant. Nearly 8 miles of trails are available for hikers, mountain bikers, or horseback riders, and a group picnic shelter is available for reservation. A playground, horseshoe pits, and restrooms are also on-site.
