Description
The Kankakee South KOA is located just an hour south of Chicago, with good restaurants, golf courses, canoe trips, and Friday night stock car races are nearby. It's also just 10 minutes from the Chicago Bears' training camp, and less than half an hour from Kankakee River State Park, where you can take Fido on a 3-mile hike along Rock Creek that leads to a frothy waterfall. At the campground, amenities include free Wi-Fi, swimming pool, playground, basketball and volleyball courts, game room, and group pavilion. The park has 30 amp service available, and can accommodate rigs up to 75 feet.
