Description
Mount Pleasant / Charleston KOA is located on the grounds of a real antebellum plantation! On weekends, you can take a free hayride tour of the 377-acre Oakland Plantation, or take a leisurely walk around the campground's private lake with Fido. Of course, you'll want to make time to explore historic Charleston, and all of the other famous plantations in the area too. For dog owners, a trip to Magnolia Plantation especially is not-to-be-missed! The campground has 50 amp service available, and can accommodate rigs up to 80 feet. Other amenities include Wi-Fi, cable TV, swimming pool, Kamping Kitchen, fishing, bike rentals, propane and firewood (for a fee). If yo book far in advance, you can even stay in KOA's lakefront Kamping Kaboose with Fido. It's a real train car!!
