Description
Mitchell KOA is located in Mitchell, home of the world's only Corn Palace. Established in 1892, the structure is stripped each year and re-decorated with murals formed by thousands of bushels of corn, grasses, grains and other products celebrating South Dakota's bounty. It's not-to-be-missed when you're in the area. Mitchell KOA has 50 amp service available, and can accommodate rigs up to 70 feet in its pull thru sites, but tent sites and Kamping Kabins are also available. Other amenities include Wi-Fi, swimming pool, mini golf, bike rentals, propane and firewood (for a fee).

We stayed here in June 2023. The camp owners were very accommodating. We had a spacious, long, pull-through site that was perfect for an overnight stay. We received great local wine and beer recommendations for items that had in the camp store. They made sure we had everything we needed after a long day of driving. The owners are definitely dog people, giving our pups some love, and there were nice areas for walking our two pups. We will definitely visit again!
